How to Display Personalized Woven Throws

Whether you’ve received a personalized woven throw as a gift, or whether you’re having one made for yourself, you need to think about how you want to display it. The fact of the matter is that there are many ways to use personalized woven throws.

Your first option is to have your personalized woven throw mounted. Often, the company that makes the throw for you can mount it, too. Generally speaking, this process involves crafting a wooden and canvas-style picture frame, and then mounting the personalized woven throw to the frame.

You can also have your personalized woven throw mounted inside a frame. This is a little more tricky, as personalized woven throws have frills on the end that need to be mounted correctly. Still, an experienced designer should be able to do this without much trouble.
You can also hang your personalized woven throw on a bar. You can usually have the designer include a loop on the throw itself. From there, you’ll insert your own hanging bar and hang it on the wall.

You can also display your personalized woven throw loosely. You might drape it across a couch or a chair, for example.

Some people prefer to use their personalized woven throws. That is all right, too. You can use it at an outdoor sporting event to keep warm, for example, or you can cuddle up with it in front of the fireplace at night.

Even if you’re hanging your throw, you’ll want to wash it from time to time. You have to be cautious here, however. You can’t just throw it in with a regular load of laundry and expect it to be OK.

Keep in mind that personalized woven throws have specific care and cleaning requirements if you want to keep the colors sharp and keep them in good condition. You can usually wash a personalized woven throw in a regular washing machine. Make sure to wash it on a delicate cycle, however. You’ll also want to make sure that you only wash it using cold water. Never use bleach on your personalized woven throw. This includes color-safe bleach.

You can dry your personalized woven throw a couple of different ways. You can hang it and let it air dry. You can also put it in the dryer. If you do choose to put it in the dryer, make sure to again use a delicate setting with low heat.

When you choose your woven throw in the first place, make sure to choose one that will last. A woven throw made from 100% cotton, for example, will last much longer than one that is made from a poly-cotton blend, or from rayon.

With a little bit of extra care, there’s no reason that your personalized woven throw shouldn’t last a long time. In fact, as long as you care for it, you can easily expect your personalized woven throw to last for pretty much the rest of your life.
